mo:re is a biotech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 2023 and based in Hamburg, we are on a mission to establish the new gold standard for organoid-based drug development, ultimately aiming to eliminate the need for animal studies. Our innovative lab platform empowers organizations to conduct organoid cell culture studies, offering a cost-effective, faster, and more compliant alternative to traditional animal testing.

Your Responsibilities

As the Product Lead you will take responsibility for developing and managing the system’s software, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of mo:re. We are establishing a software development team to drive our growth and innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-growth startup environment, providing creative freedom to shape our product strategy and development processes:

• Lead the research, design, development, testing and maintenance of the Mo:re web platform.
• Support the hardware team in the development Mo:re’s device firmware.
• Support the team in the necessary customer facing activities.
• Supervise both individual and team priorities and milestones.

Your Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development, including web platforms and APIs in high-growth tech companies (Start-ups / scale-ups)
• 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and Python.
• Ability to fluently communicate in English and German (preferable)
  
  

Preferable Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, managing teams of software engineers
• Experience working with microcontrollers, sensors and actuators
• Experience designing and implementing any of the following: APIs and SDK’s used by other developers, data and ML (Machine Learning) systems
